This week, as Schools honored their scholars in ceremonies that enlightened and inspire students to do their best, Citi Termite Control in collaboration with Our Lady's Catholic Academy in Queens, New York, also had a moment to celebrate its three (3) outstanding Winners for their hard work in the Poetry Competition. This collaboration was due to Our Lady's Catholic Academy (OLCA) celebrating its Tenth (10th) Anniversary in the Community, while Citi Termite Control (CTC) wanted to give back to the Community in a way that's dear to its Founder's heart, Poetry.
Together with the students of OLCA, CTC were able to celebrate with OLCA in three (3) categories and Age groups: Kindergarten - Second Grade, Third - Fifth and Sixth - Eight Grade. The topics for each level varied, as they pertained to the importance of OLCA in the students lives, the community and as a distinguished establishment. The Competition was exciting and the enthusiasm displayed by the students can be seen throughout the school. The Winning trio: Sahara Adiram (1st grade), Ashley Johnson (5th grade) and Talese Brown (8th grade) were commended for a job well-done, their talent and a possible continuation of this competitive spirit, to achieve much more. Our Winners received monetary prizes and an award, which served as a constant reminder of their hard work and dedication which may inspire others.
